JNP Summer 2015 Update

9/3/2015

Hey Everyone,

Well, another year has gone by quicker than you can imagine. Each time I sit down to do an update, I am amazed it's been a year since my previous entry. Goes to show you how busy things have been here at JNP Productions, but that's OK...WE LIKE BUSY! So here is a quick rundown of what we've done, and what's coming up for us here at JNP.

We jumped in with return customer Dawnelle Elizabeth for not one, but TWO new videos. Working with this Christian solo singer is always an adventure, and we were excited to complete both new videos for her in a timely manner. "The Truth Will Set You Free" was filmed at a picturesque horse stable up in North County San Diego, while "Want To Tell" features the hustle and bustle of Downtown San Diego and the many people who make it such a colorful city. Watch it here:

Next we got to work with the great people in the band Sometimes Julie for their song "Head First". We were excited by their idea of bringing to life a modern retelling of the famous Wizard of Oz. This ambitious video was a real challenge, but we love a good challenge! After a few meetings, a schedule was set and the JNP crew, the large cast of actors and extras, and of course the band, all came together perfectly. Everyone worked really hard, and after a LONG day of filming we got all the shots we needed. Can't thank everyone at The Merrow enough for their help. The final video really shows all the fun we had working with them, and we hope to do another video with them soon. Here it is:

After that, we received a call from the people at Mach Stem Nutrition. They were interested in a catchy video to release their new "Kombat Kocktail" supplement drink. We don't normally do commercials at JNP, but being a fan of MMA, and with the idea they wanted a music video for their product launch, I felt it was a great fit. We got to go to their gym, meet the guys, and watch them train to show you first hand what these guys go through...cool stuff! John was thrilled with the result and thanked us saying we helped “fulfill his dream” That means everything to us. To check out the final video, click here:

Once in awhile, a new client comes to us with the idea of trying something new. This was the case with PRIMADONNA. She had a very catchy dance song and her ideas were open to interpretation. We were intrigued, and after a few talks, she decided to trust her unique vision to us. We had a blast bringing this song to life! Filmed in 2 locations, one outdoors up in beautiful Bonsall, the other in a film studio in Old Town San Diego, she performed her heart out. The video turned out the way we had hoped, very dream like, and features some very specific B-roll footage that had a lot of meaning to her. Check it out here:

We always love doing metal videos, and we got the chance to work with San Diego thrash metal band Detonated for their video "Set To Annihilate". Their music is full on, and in your face! Filmed at the Arcana Brewery in Carlsbad CA, the guys tore through the song, one member at a time, in the blistering heat. Luckily for us, the brewery was a nice place to "wrap up" after a long day of filming. To see the video click here:

Speaking of metal, how could I forget the "Cowgirls From Hell"?! It's not everyday that an all female tribute to Pantera appears on the scene, and when I saw how well these ladies rocked the challenging material, I was stoked to be asked to do their first video. Don't let their kick ass performance fool you, they are the nicest group of girls you could work for, and I am proud to say the video has already helped them land some great shows. And more important, their fans love it! It has reached 12,000 plays already in just 3 months! Check it here

Finally, we just released JNP Productions 4th Official Demo Reel. I'm really excited to show off the whole journey of JNP in this video and hope it attracts new projects for many years to come! You can see the demo here

Some random notes while I have everyone here:

We are proud to say that Benedictum's "Scream" went from 80,000 plays to 168,500 this year. Good work guys!

Also, JNP has a new office phone number: 619-767-6460.

Finally, we are offering a new promotion! To give back to everyone on our first 8 years of business, we are offering a special deal with any band/artist who signs up for a video with JNP through September 2015. Any new customer gets 15% off the total budget! What about repeating customers? Well JNP has always loved our repeat customers, so we are offering ANY repeating customer 20% off! All you need to do to get this deal is be sure to share our new demo reel, and send us a screenshot of it on your page. But hurry up, this deal ends 9-30-15. NOTE, the video doesn't even have to be filmed in Sept, just contract signed and deposit secured to get the promotional rate.

Well, that's it. For those who read this far down, thanks for continuing support and as always I hope you enjoyed the ride. We know we sure have! Here's to the next 8 years!

Cheers,

JNP SUMMER 2014 UPDATE

7/9/2014

Hey Everyone,

Again, wow, it has been awhile since my last JNP Blog Post.  Guess that means we have been BUSY!!!  As always, just wanted to let ya all in on what has been going on over the past months here at JNP in one easy to chew blog.   So let's do THIS.......

Let's see, where did we leave off in the last blog??  Oh yeah, the mighty BENEDICTUM!!!  So soon after the last blog, the video I did for "Scream" was finally released by Italian label, Frontier Records, and took off right away with great response and a lot of plays!!!  As of this, it is at over 80,000 plays and counting!!  SO HAPPY to read all the great response in the comment sections.  Being this was the first "official" video by this legendary metal  band, I was determined to not let any of their fans down.... To see the video, click this link here.

Next up was San Diego rapper Buck Zero with his song "Everything", that was produced by Vic Jones.  Buck was a lot of fun to work with, and we had a blast capturing his performance and story throughout beautiful Downtown San Diego.  Cast and crew came together seamlessly on this one and Buck was very happy with the results.  AND THAT is what we love to hear at JNP!!!  Check it out here.

Next up was a quick trip to New York to work again with Castrofate and do a video for their song "Shattered Soul".  This was our 3rd video with him, and a great chance to try out some new gear, including some special effects lenses and new software, that fit perfect with this videos concept.  As always we had fun working with Danny, and look forward to his next video.  To check out our latest collaboration, click here.

Right after that was Marcus King.  It was a real treat to work with such a outspoken and socially aware artist.  He came to me with a simple idea for his song "HoodY Walk", and let me run with it.  Mixing in old pics and footage to tell the story and message of Mr. King's song "Hoody Walk". With topic about racial inequality in America,  the video and its images were meant to "cause a reaction".   Marcus later said, "You took the idea right out of my head and made it come to life, better then I had ever imagined it would be!".  It is my favorite part of running JNP, making an artist vision come to life.  This song also featured Jon Russo on guitar, who I have had the pleasure to work with in previous videos for Canobliss and Psychothermia.  To see the final video, please click here.

Some may not know this, but JNP doesn't do just music videos.  We also do EPK's(Electroinc Press Kits) that help cover bands expand their exposure and chance at bigger and better gigs! It was  real pleasure to work with the pro cover band, Hitman Honey and do 2 different video clips for them.  These were a mix of performance, showing off their amazing renditions of some classic rock songs, and candid interview footage that introduced themselves to potential buyers.  JNP has been doing these types of videos for years, and is proud of the positive response they have received.  To see Hitman Honey's EPK, here. To check out some of our other promo vids go to Promo/EPK's in our Video Vault.

A few months ago, I was contacted by Jennifer Knight, whom we did a video for awhile back for her debut hit "Hostage".  She asked if we could do an edit for a video that was shot by a 3rd party, and left her unhappy with the results.  This meant a lot to us to be able to help out a client who was currently needing help.  So we jumped in and got to work.  The footage, although being pretty difficult to work with, was given the ol "JNP" treatment, and within a few weeks, Jennifer had a new video that her label and her are now proud of.  To see the results, please click here.

Finally Joe has just returned from another trip to the east coast.  This one to New Jersey to work with the metal band Ominous on their 3rd video with JNP for their song "Forget".  This one would really push Joe and his crew into some hard to reach and CREEPY locations, but the footage turned out AMAZING!!  I am currently a week into editing, and it's really coming together nicely.  This one will be out in a few weeks if all goes as planned!!   As far as the video that was slated for their song "The Other Me", that had to get postponed due to logistics with the location, but it will be happening!!  (Editors Note, Forget has been finished and can be seen here.

So that pretty much sums up the last 10 months or so.  We did also purchase some new cameras, including another matching Canon DSLR to double our production coverage, and a new GoPro 3, that opens up a bunch of new possibilities for exciting angles and perspectives.  Also, some new software from Red Giant was purchased that has been really fun to work with and I'm excited by the results already.

There are some big things in the works planned for the next few months, but I'll wait for now to say anything about them.

As always, thanks for the support and I will continue to try to update things more often here....

Until next time....

Joe

JNP Summer 2013 Update!!!

8/12/2013

Hey Everyone!!!

WOW, it's been a long time!  Can't believe how fast a year just passed by here at JNP!! Just wanted to share some updates as to the recent haps here at JNP since our last blog.

First off, we did get our new, more refined website up and running.  Very happy with the results,  and a new system for how the video are organized will be available soon. Special thanks to Nadine and Christina, because anyone who has built their own website knows how much work it can be, and they both did a great job!!

Over the last year,  we did two videos for Christian singer Dawnelle Elizabeth.  We had a lot of fun and are proud to say that currently her play count for “Face to Face” we did a few weeks ago is already up to over 34,000 plays, and the first one we did earlier for “And I Know” is rocking over 53,000 plays!!! We are very excited that her videos have struck such a chord with her audience and we are proud to be helping her get her name out there worldwide!!

Another client of ours last year, Jennifer Knight, has been doing great!!  She has proudly landed herself a deal with record label giant Sony Records and is currently working in NY with some big name producers. I heard they are looking to do a new video soon, and are looking for a way to have JNP Productions involved!!  We are very excited to also have helped Jennifer show the world her talents and hope to be working with her again soon!!

The video for Psychothermia's first single “Anarchy” was finally released, and everyone including the band was very pleased.  If you haven't seen this over the top video yet, check it out!!! They are currently playing countless shows and are battling for a chance to play on Rockstar Energry Drink's Uproar Festival!!

A personal highlight this year was working with young singer/songwriter Cassidy Diane!!  We had a few meetings, and knew right from the beginning it was going to be a challenge.  But we love pushing ourselves, and this video has turned out to be one of my favorites.  It revolves around teen suicide, something Cassidy felt strongly about having this tragedy strike her own school a number of times, and she hoped she could let others, who may be feeling this way, know that they are not alone.  The song and video are very powerful, and we invite you to watch it and share “The Note” here.  This video was also a runner up in a video contest for projects under $5,000 in budget!!

JNP has always been about diversity, and we had a new style of music come up that was new to even us, opera!!!  We filmed and edited a video for Broadway star Candese Marchese for her version of “Non C'est Rien” that took us from the famous merry-go-round at Balboa Park in San Diego to the historic theater of La Paloma in Encinitas CA.  After the first version of the video was edited, director John Alexander decided he wanted do more filming before releasing.  This project is currently put on hold while Candese is recovering from surgery.  We wish her a quick comeback, and look forward to finishing this project.

After opera we stepped back into the rap world with Lil Gifted.  We did an urban themed video for  his song "Jealousy & Addiction" that showcased his talent across a variety of San Diego backdrops. He was very cool to work with and said he was already planning on his next video, so we hope to be working again soon!!  His video we did can be seen here.

Next we got to work with new pop sensation Sumika Forbes and did her first video for her hit single “Miracle”. Sumika, originally from Hawaii, has been writing catchy songs since she was a kid.  She was a treat to work with and came in with a lot of ideas and a ton of enthusiasm.  Everything came together nicely on this project, and everyone who helped out had such contagious energy, it was impossible not to have fun over the 2 days of location shooting!!  Keep an eye out for what's next for Sumika!!   The video we did for her is here.

We finally got to work with the legendary metal masters of Benedictum, doing a video for their new song “Scream”!! Amazing to think after the number of albums and huge festivals this band has played all over the world, that JNP were the lucky ones to do their FIRST VIDEO!!!  We headed to Phoenix AZ and filmed at the famous Scottsdale Studios! Even though we ran them through take after take, the band was a lot of fun to work with, and had us laughing the whole LONG day.  I edited the footage and the band and I were happy, but both thought it needed an extra “something”.  So “V” and I sat down on a conference call one day, and came up with some ideas to add a story element to the performance video.  We were on the same page, and so we went right out and found 2 very good actors, and rocked out some scenes that really tie the whole video together.  Right now the video is in Italy being viewed by their label Frontiers Records for final approval.  At this time, there might be some more editing and final touches added, before finally be released.  Not to give away too much, lets just say, we are VERY excited about it finally coming out and being able to share this monster!!

Finally, after much thought, JNP Productions has decided to continue calling San Diego home.  There was thought of moving operations to L.A., but we later decided we enjoy our lives, friends and team we've built for ourselves here in S.D.  That being said, there will be some changes as we head into late 2013 early 2014 as we see JNP grow with additions to key positions in our team.  This is key to our overall goal of being able to offer our quality work to a larger audience.

Also, some new projects coming up that we are excited about, including our 3rd video with New Jersey metal band “Ominous” for their new song “The Other Me”.  Those who saw the videos we shot with them in NY and Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, know we like to go BIG when we work together, and this video will be even BIGGER!!  In fact,  it will probably be the most ambitious video we have ever done here at JNP!! Filming will take place in W. Virginia at the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum.  Can you say “one of the most haunted places in the country”!!!  Should be interesting folks...

As always, thanks for the support everyone and we will do better about staying in touch more often to keep the blogs shorter!!!

Cheers...

Summer 2012 Update

Hello friends!

It's been a bit too long since we posted here, so we thought we'd give you an update on JNP's recent news!  So far this year JNP has completed a few SUPER awesome projects.  The first was for the band One Choice hailing from Temecula, CA, for their song "Lifelong Dreams." Click Here to check it out!

This was such a high-energy video to be a part of and we're glad they were stoked with how it came out.

Next it was onto a Rap video for the talented Drew Harmon from San Diego.  We got away filming in some of our FAVORITE San Diego spots for this vid, and were stoked with how it turned out.  Click Here to check it!

While our video for the song "Anarchy" by Psychothermia (formerly known as Canobliss) was filmed in early 2012, the band decided to postpone release of the video while they completed their recordings and other band business!  But never fear, this vid is FINALLY slated to drop within the next couple weeks, and we can easily say this was the most ambitious and in-depth production to date for the JNP team.  What a blast!

We were also honored to do Castrofate's SECOND video production with us, for the song "Systematic Suicide."  This was an edgy production filmed on location in San Diego and it really came out as we hoped it would, mostly thanks to the great talent of all the actors that contributed to the video.  Check it out here .

Finally, we completed Jennifer Knight's debut video for her hit track "Hostage."  This video has helped Jenn to draw attention from some pretty major A&R Firms and we hear her song has now been picked up for radio airplay nationwide!  This is yet another testament to how important having a great video is if you take your music seriously!  This video came together in a magical way and we're proud to have helped support this talented woman on her musical path.  Click here to check out the video.

Thanks to everyone for your ongoing support!  Coming up, JNP will be relaunching our website and filming a new full production video for Christian Singer Dawnelle Elizabeth. We also will be helping out a local cover band to film a promo video to help show off their band and secure new gigs.  There never seems to be a dull moment here, and we look forward to sharing these new vids with you all as they are finished!  And don't forget, when YOU'RE ready to schedule your next music vid, call us at 619-303-8440.

Rock on,
Christina

Hey Everyone,

WOW, have things been busy for us at JNP-but as always, that's a good thing!!!  First off, we did finish the video for Simple Mantra's "Cluster".  We can say now after all the hard work and trying a few new editing tricks, that this video was a HOMERUN for us.  Within 2 months, they have already got over 29,000 plays on youtube alone!!!!  That is awesome and we are so stoked to be helping them get the attention they deserve.  If you haven't seen it yet, please check it out here.

After that, we got to work with the nicest people on the planet, the folks at No-Loc records.  This gospel group, BJWH & Change, has been playing together since the early 90's and we were fortunate enough to do their very first video for the song "Caught Up".  The song is extremely catchy and tells a simple story of life and loss, told through the generations of one family, and we were honored to "bring it to life" for them.  After two very energetic days filming at their locations, I was off editing for 2 weeks before showing them the results.  I nervously (as always) awaited the answer on if they liked what I had done, and they called back saying they "were all crying...they loved it!”  This was music to my ears.  We can't wait to work with them again-- they all were the nicest and welcoming people you could ever meet. To see the finished video for "Caught Up", click here.

One of the coolest things we get to do at JNP is work with up-and-coming bands, and our next project was a great example of that. "The Parlour Shootout" is a new San Diego Alt/Heavy Rock band, featuring our very own General Manager Christina Sousa on drums. I was very happy to get a chance to film and edit a short EPK showing them recording, talking about their history together, and showing them doing what they do best, throwing down in the rehearsal room!!  Keep an eye out for them as they already have a buzz building around San Diego with the handful of shows they played over the last few months.  To see the video we did with them, click here.

Next we flew to our "home away from home" Denver CO, for another video with Charlie Ricks, but this one was different.  This one was his "directorial" debut for the artist "Who is Jane Doed", featuring Amanda Hawkins and Bianca Mikahn for the song "While the Record Spins".  It was a lot of fun working with both these talented ladies, and getting a chance to meet with Denver producer Nathan Reid.  Although we have already finished editing the video, at the time of writing this, it hasn't been released.  Once it’s officially out, we will post it on our page.

And finally, we recently got to work with Dan Castro out New York.  Dan is the mastermind behind "Castrofate", a power metal band that has a lot of early Metallica and other thrash band influence.  He was very easy to work with and flew all the way to San Diego to film his performance portion of the video.  We were given creative control over the story, and had a lot of fun exploring a "big brother" themed idea.  This video allowed me to try some things I don't normally get to do while editing, and I was very pleased with the results.  To check it out, click here. Thankfully we had the great acting talents of Erik Fowler on board to help us bring this character, driven over the edge, to life.  You might recognize Erik from our previous video we did with Christine Rage "Rock the House" video.  See if you can spot him?

With all that it’s time for JNP to take a little break and have some time to recharge.  Flights have already been booked for a week in Cabo before starting 2012 running full speed ahead.  Already we are in talks with some heavy bands, some repeat customers, and some new to JNP.  We can't wait to see what kind of videos we are going to be able to do once I get more used to my new Adobe CS 5.5 software we recently purchased.  Also, JNP is heading into what we have been calling "JNP 2.0".  After 3 years of growth and learning, we have decided it’s time to "take it to the next level" and expand our team so we can make even better videos moving forward.

LOOKOUT 2012...JNP IS FIRING ON ALL CYLINDERS!!!!

Thanks again to everyone for their support and help in making 2011 a great year for JNP Productions....

Summer 2011 at JNP-- staying busy as always!

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for checking in with us for our summer update.  Our clients have been keeping us very busy the past couple months!  We've had some awesome adventures filming videos, which have taken us everywhere from dark caves to high-class hotels, beaches, deserts, and everything in between.  It's also been an exciting couple of months because we recently added Shane Zelm to the JNP team as our Marketing/Creative Director!  Shane has been a huge help so far (not to mention a super fun guy to work with) and having him here has really helped us to take our productions to the next level!  We've also been working with local legend "Rock and Roll" Randy Strain of JRS Productions.  Randy has been contributing some awesome lighting setups to our shoots and also shooting TONS of pro still photos for our clients while on site!  Not to mention he has saved our behinds on some electricala issues numerous times (thanks Randy)!

First off, our VERY FIRST short film entitled "Life" (screenplay Charlie Ricks and Christopher Bradley) was released to the web on Friday, July 22nd.  We are so excited to be tapping into this new medium.  Filming for Charlie Ricks is like filming him doing his art, as life, and we definitely had some good times pushing the boundaries of "the norm" while creating the shots and trailer for this video.  Check it out by clicking here.  To see the lengths we go to to make our clients' visions come to life, check out the trailer here where we literally disrupted some 5 o'clock traffic with our film crew to get the point across.  Shhh!

Next up was rock goddess Christine Rage's video for her new single "Rock the House" which is the title track off her new album, available online and in stores now.  We had a lot of fun on this shoot, with special thanks to Andaz hotel and Brick by Brick for letting us film on their properties. This video is due to be released this Friday so be sure to check back for it!

As I speak Joe is clicking away on the early stages of editing for Simple Mantra's single "Cluster" off their debut album.  Simple Mantra is definitely an up-and-coming group, the vision of pro keyboardist and songwriter Bill Moore paired with the sultry poetic vocals of frontwoman Chelly Mantra.  The band is comprised of pro-level stellar musicians and we can't say how much we truly enjoyed working with such a talented and on-the-ball group.  We did some on-location 5am shooting in Ocotillo Wells, CA along with some more intimate shots in their private studio.  We've got a few "tricks" up our sleeve on the editing for this one, so definitely check out the song on their website and be sure to check back on the video for this one around the end of August!

Coming up on the horizon we're lookng forward to a fun and energetic shoot with NOLOC Records' premiere gospel group BJWH & Change.  This group has been singing together since 1993 people!!!  Being that Joe & I are both from Detroit, we have a special love for gospel groups, and what we've heard so far from this one is pretty amazing!  Plus they have been so pleasant and professional throughout pre-production, so we're really hoping to knock it out of the park for them and create a video they'll love to share for years to come...

If you've been following us from the start you know that our first couple years at this were full of trials, tribulations, and a lot of lessons learned!  But we are so thankful to EVERY SINGLE ONE of our clients that have seen us along the way and trusted us with their projects (a special shoutout to Mr. Charlie Ricks-- Holla)!  Now that we've expanded our team and had our share of horror stories we really seem to have caught our stride lately and the response from you all has been overwhelming and amazing.  Your support has allowed us to switch over to JNP as our full-time gig instead of just an idea, and we look forward to repaying you with nothing but awesome videos.

Our principals have not changed:

1) Understand YOUR vision and work with you to bring it to life.
2) Keep our vids in a price range that won't break your bank!
3) Make killer videos that help take your band/group/song to the next level.

That's all folks!

Until next time,

Christina

JNP's Latest News!

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for checking in with JNP and for all the great support for our videos!  It's been a busy year so far for JNP Productions.  If you haven't checked out our new 2011 demo reel, you can see it by clicking HERE.

We kicked off the 2011 season with a video for Joe's band In Every Breath's single "Temptress" off their new CD "Awakening."  This was an awesome video to work on, and we were so lucky to work with such amazing people at these amazing locations.  Click HERE to see the finished video.  This production really helped to push their EP promo over the top, and they received a ton of great response from the video and EP.

Check out our other Spring 2011 productions by visiting our Vimeo page and browsing around for a bit.  We've worked for a handful of cool artists this spring including San Diego Rapper Tonic Spray and Persian Independent Artist Foad Haeri.

Currently we are wrapping up the editing on our next video for local metalheads Under The Stone.  These guys are one of our favorite local SD bands, and we had a great time working with them!  For this video we got to use one of THE most accomodating yet BRUTAL locations to date--- The Motor Transport Museum in Campo, CA.  The guys at the museum were so friendly to all our needs that day, and even let us blare metal into the late hours to get the vibe and look we were going for.  If you're ever out that way stop by there and pay Brian a visit-- what an awesome dude!  Oh and stop by the Campo Diner too while you're at it-- five stars for dealing with our antics over dinner that night!

You know we've always got videos on the horizon here at JNP, and of course we're pulling together for another video for Denver's own Charlie Ricks, to be filmed here in SD later this month.  We're also looking forward to working with a couple up-and-coming SD artists before heading back east to work with New Jersey's OMINOUS on their next insane video at the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum later this summer.  That is one you WON'T want to miss!

Thanks again for all the love & support!

LOOKOUT 2011....Here comes JNP!!!!

Hey again Friends,

Sorry its been awhile since our last update, but you know we've been keeping busy with cool projects here at JNP.

First up, "Battered" the 2nd video we did with New Jersey metal heads Ominous was finally released, and received great response right away.  If you haven't seen it yet, click HERE.  The 3rd video we are doing with these crazy f***ers is set for August at the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in W.Virgina.  This video is going to feature some "special guests" of the ghostly kind.  3 words on this project...I CANT WAIT!!!

So back in early November, Spaceblues mastermind Charlie Ricks flew in from Denver to help direct and over see his 7th, YES I SAID 7TH video with JNP, "Exile".  If you haven't seen it yet, click HERE.  We had special help on this one with the great acting of Charley Miller.  He made the main character "come to life", and we hope to work with him again in upcoming productions.  Spaceblues is hoping to have JNP and Charley Miller head to Denver mid 2011 to do a new short story film, that will tie together all the characters from our previous videos.  Can you say "head trip"!??!  haha.

In Mid December we finally got to work with San Diego's My Elysian.  We were looking forward to this one, and in 2 quick days, we filmed everything we needed to make their debut video for "Break Me Down".  After I finished editing this video, we were given a special treat by the band.  My Elysian played a big show in Hillcrest where half way through their set, they stopped to debut the video for all their friends and fans on a big screen.  The crowd loved it, and it was great way for me to see people react directly to all the hard work I had put into this video. Haven't seen yet?  Well click HERE.

VERY EXCITED to say, that as I'm writing this, I am also working on my band, In Every Breath's first video in almost 4 years for the song "Temptress".  Initial shooting began in late November in my old hometown, Detroit Michigan.  We were honored to film at the Russell Industrial Complex where other famous videos and movies were filmed.  With the help of 3 young local actors, we spent the day capturing some cool stuff.  Then, in late December, after 2 weather postponements, we finally got the performance footage we needed, shooting in a secret location out near Alpine CA.  This video is very special to me, for obvious reasons, and I hope to have it up within a week or two for everyone to see.

With all that we still have been very busy with projects, including filming Keven Porter's "Darklight" debut performance last night at the Poway's Center for Performing Arts for an upcoming video for the title track of  Keven's recent album "Darklight".   Also on deck for filming next weekend is San Diego's up and coming rapper, Tonic Spray.  We're slated to film him January 30th in several San Diego locations.  We are real excited about this kid, he is a unique talent, and we are stoked to be doing his first video with him.

AND, we still got the chance to FINALLY move the office for JNP.  After years at the crowded beach's, we headed inland to a new building that allowed for more space for gear and a dedicated office for day to day operations and editing.  As with all moves, it was hectic, but, it sure feels great to finally be settled in.  The new place is amazing and its real proof that all the hard work we've been doing is paying off!!!  By the way, the new office number is (619)-303-8440

Well, I think that's about it.  I better get going and get back to editing.  Thanks again to everyone we've worked with along the way, and going to be working with this year...as I said before...LOOKOUT 2011, Here comes JNP!!!!!!
